Paul R. Shoaf

Paul R. Shoaf, 74, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 11, 2026. He was the beloved husband of 37 years to Michelle (Early) Shoaf and the devoted father of Garrett W. Shoaf. Born as the 11th of 12 children to Raymond and Dorothy (Elston) Shoaf, Paul graduated with the class of 1970 from Adams Central High School in Monroe, Indiana. He went on to earn a business degree from Indiana University in Fort Wayne.

Paul was an independent contractor and the sole owner of PR Shoaf Company, where he continued serving his customers with dedication until his final days. He found great joy in spending time on his computer, constantly learning new skills, engaging in self-trading, and sharing laughter and conversation with his many wonderful friends.

He was preceded in death by his sisters LaRae Dixon, Barb Tumbleson, Carol Murray, Karen Joseph, and Janet Leininger, and his brothers Bill, Terry, and Phil Shoaf. Paul is survived by his sisters Darlene Alexander and Pam Bollenbacker, his brother Allen Shoaf, his wife Michelle, his son Garrett, and many nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
