It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul R. Burmeister of Fremont, Ohio, who passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Paul R. Burmeister to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Burmeister and Lucy Burmeister Sr. (Michaels); his sister Mary Garvin (Joe); and his brother-in-law Thomas Schearer. He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Burmeister; his children, Brian Burmeister (Judith) of Fremont, OH and Amy Schneider (Jason) of Fremont, OH; his grandchildren, Emily Burmeister (Kole Sherrill), Addison Schneider (Garrett), Charlie Corthell (Mackenzie Kidwell), Ashtyn Schneider (Bailey Carder) and Riley Schneider (Miguel Navarro); his great grandchild Kendyl Ryann Schneider; his siblings, Nancy Schearer of Greensboro, NC and Carl Burmeister Jr. (Darlene) of Lindsey, OH; and his pet Mollie Jo.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home (425 E State St, Fremont, OH 43420). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Grace Community Church (900 Smith Rd, Fremont, OH 43420).
