Paul N. Shadle Sr.

Paul N. Shadle Sr., 100, of New Kensington, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in Logan Place, Lower Burrell. Born in Greensburg on February 10, 1926, to the late William David and Myra Addie Dibble Shadle, he had been a resident of Lower Burrell since 1941. A proud Army veteran who served in the Battle of the Bulge during World War II, Paul was a longtime member of the Christian Missionary Alliance Church. He found great joy in time spent with his wife and family, working on his computer, and cheering for his beloved Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates.

He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Dorothy Ann Morris Shadle; his son, Paul (Sharon) Shadle Jr. of Upper Burrell; his grandson, John Gorsuch; and three great-grandchildren, Julianna, Makayla, and Gavin Gorsuch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Marian Shadle; his brother, William Shadle; and two sisters, Violet Bargerstock and Dorothy Moore.

Paul will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose quiet strength and love for his family left a lasting impression on all who knew him.
