He was born on March 30, 1958. He is predeceased by his parents Tsuneo and Pauline Miyamoto, brother Leigh Miyamoto and nephew Johnny boy Miyamoto.He is survived by brothers, John (Bridget) Miyamoto and Harold (Jade) Miyamoto, Sister-in-law Stella Lau, nephew's and niece's, Kalani (Dee Dee) Lau, Reiko (Stephen) Urayanza, Julie (Rudy) Bernardino, Mason (Alexis) Miyamoto, Journey (Nick) Wallace, Ramze'e Miyamoto, Jarrett Shirota, Tamara Tanaka (Lewa), Jayden Shirota and numerous grandniece's and grandnephew's.Paul lived life on his own terms and started his career in the Construction trade as a laborer and then as a Mason. After wanting a change in his career, Paul attended UHMC and obtained a degree in Culinary Arts as a cook. He traveled internationally and was a cook for the Department of Defense, even travelling to Bosnia and Johnson Island. Paul was known for his awesome and delicious cooking skills!Paul had a passion for advocating for others who were struggling that were often treated unfairly and would fiercely fight for their voices to be heard. He was always trying to give back to those in need and would always lend a helping hand transporting others who didn't have any means of transportation. He had a kind andcompassionate heart especially towards stray animals, always caring for and feeding them back to health.Paul always spoke about his childhood friends and was appreciative that they would keep their close friendship throughout their lives, Howard Souki he spoke about you up until his passing and was grateful for the decades of friendship you shared… These things mattered to him…Paul, you will be sorely missed by all those whose lives you've touched… Rest easy and be at peace… We love you…A Celebration of Life will be forthcoming, and the family will announce the date and time upon confirmation of venue.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
