Paul L. Meacham

Paul L. Meacham of Springfield passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026 at Baystate Medical Center at the age of 74. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts on April 10, 1951, he was the son of the late Robert and Evelyn (Hall) Meacham. Paul grew up in Springfield, graduated from Minnechaug Regional High School with the Class of 1971, and remained deeply rooted in the community throughout his life.

Music was the heart of Paul’s world. A talented and dedicated musician, he performed for many years with local tribute bands, sharing his passion and skill with audiences across the region. Those who knew him remember the joy he brought through his music and his unwavering commitment to his craft.

He is survived by his loving life partner, Cynthia Bushy of Springfield; his son, Douglas Meacham of Suffield, Connecticut; his sister, Nancy Syrett of Hampden, Massachusetts; his nephew, Tristan Syrett of Hampden; and his great-niece, Sydney Scahill. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by other beloved family members.
