He was born July 4, 1983, in Lawton, OK to Gene A. Koch, Jr. and Mary Kathleen Spyker. Gene survives in Lima and Mary (Rick Hagan) Koch in Jeffersonville, IN. He married Susan Marie Wombles April 4, 2022, they were together for 30 years.Paul graduated from Rhodes State with a degree in Advanced Manufacturing Technician in 2021. He worked for SRK from 2006 until 2024 when he could no longer work because of his cancer. Paul 'Joe' loved sports including fishing, playing poker and going to casinos. He loved his tattoos but above all he loved his family, especially his children and grandchildren.Additional survivors include 3 children: Dakota Allen Koch, Destiny Marie (Dakota Grim) Koch and Alexis Taylor (Brady Navarro) Koch all of Lima, 2 grandchildren Mayleigh Sue Marie Grim and Leah Jane Grim and one on the way Bentley Joseph Wayne Grim; siblings: Wendie Marie (Adrian) Haley of Springfield, IL, Christa Dawn (Brian) McGuire of Waynesfield and Gene A. (Samantha Miller) Koch, III of Lima.The family will receive friends from 12 to 8 Thursday, March 19, 2026 and the funeral service will be Friday at 11:00 AM with minister J.J.
