Paul Snodgrass ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Edward V. Sullivan Funeral Home on Mar. 1, 2026.Paul G. Snodgrass, 89, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 27, with his daughters by his side. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great-grandfather, great-great-grandfather, and friend whose life was defined by hard work, quiet pride, and deep love for those closest to him.Born in Woburn and raised in Burlington, Paul was the beloved son of the late Ralph C. and Margaret Louise (Flaherty) Snodgrass. Following in his father's footsteps, he pursued a career as an electrician after graduating from trade school. Paul quickly distinguished himself through his skill, determination, and strong work ethic. He eventually founded and operated his own electrical company, running it independently for many years. Later in his career, he joined IBEW Local 103, from which he retired in his seventies.Paul truly lived and breathed his work. Providing for his family through long, demanding days was a responsibility he carried with pride and purpose. His house on Harriet Ave was a source of great pride. Yet despite the intensity of his career, he found joy in life's quiet moments, especially the peaceful lunches he would take beneath the apple trees in Burlington, a simple ritual he quietly cherished.A special place in Paul's heart was his small cottage on Sunrise Lake, where he and his children created countless memories together. Whether during warm summer days or quiet winter retreats, the lake offered him a refuge from his busy world he worked so hard to support. In his younger years, Paul was an avid car collector and took great pride in his collection. Though he later parted with those vehicles, the passion and enthusiasm he once held for them never faded. More than anything, Paul treasured time with his family. Being surrounded by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild brought him his greatest happiness and deepest sense of fulfillment.Paul was sadly predeceased by his siblings, Ronald Snodgrass and Ruth Dunnells. He is survived by his loving daughters, Corine Mazza and her husband Wayne of Billerica, Dawnmarie Whitten and her husband Martin of Australia, Diana Sterling of Eustis FL, and Sandra Sheehan of Woburn, 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, a great-great grandchild as well as many nieces and nephews.A private graveside service will take place in the spring in Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Burlington.
