Bogalusa, LA

Paul Daniel Legendre passed away peacefully at his home on March 7, 2026. Born on January 11, 1964, in Lockport, Louisiana, to Dolores Hebert Legendre and Daniel Legendre, he was preceded in death by his younger brother Eric Legendre and his grandparents Emelda and Clarence Hebert and Mary and Horace Legendre.

He is survived by his wife Suzanne LeGlue Legendre, his daughters Alyssia, Olivia, and Emily Legendre, and his stepson Jason LeGlue. Paul is also survived by his parents Dolores and Daniel Legendre, his siblings Deane Pope (Trent), Jaclyn Terrell (Jonathan), Mitchell Legendre (Lorielle), and Gina Legendre (Brien Hollkamp), his brothers-in-law Andrew LeGlue (Christy), Tony LeGlue (Shanon), and Justin LeGlue (Kristin), and his sister-in-law Bonnie Truitt (Jason). He will be deeply missed by his many nieces and nephews.

Paul graduated from Nicholls State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology and a Master’s degree in business. He worked at National Grocery Store, Tidewater Marine, McDermott, C B and I, Avondale, and the Entergy Nuclear Power Plant, where he made many friends and took great pride in his work and in being a reliable team player.

A lifelong enthusiast of technology, Paul began with CB radios, moved to HAM radios, and later embraced personal computers. He remained an avid Saints and Star Wars fan, and after his service in the Air Force Reserve, he continued his interest in aviation through PC flight simulators. He was an avid sportsman who loved hunting, fishing, and gathering around the campfire with his brother Mitchell and other family members. Above all, those who knew him will remember his quick wit, endless jokes, and wonderful sense of humor. He and Suzanne also opened their hearts and home as foster parents to 15 children over more than a decade. Paul was truly one of a kind.
