Paul Allen ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Sebrell Funeral Home on Mar. 17, 2026.Paul "Daniel" Allen, 69 years old, a much-loved husband, father, Poppa, brother, uncle and friend of Georgetown, Mississippi passed away at MS Baptist Medical Center on March 16th, 2026, surrounded by family.Daniel was born in Crystal Springs, Mississippi on March 16th, 1957, to Velma (Knight) and Jim Allen. He grew up on various farms in Copiah County and drove an 18-wheeler for around 51 years, hauling cattle, logs, gravel, heavy machinery and a list of other things. Daniel has been a member of FPC of Georgetown since 1976.Daniel is survived by his loving wife Kay (Hollins) of almost 50 years and his children: Angela Grimes, Candi Lewis (Allen), Tonya Allen and Payton Pitts (Tyler). His grandchildren: Scotlyn Grimes, Makayla Reid (Cooper), Haegan Pitts, Lexie & Brylee Allen and great grandson: Brooks Reid. Sisters: Ethel Hart & Betty Whitten. Mother-in-law: Audrey Sistrunk.He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Regina Sojourner & Edna Moody, brothers: Thomas and James Allen, brother-in-law: Fred Whitten, sister-in-law: Sharon Hollins, nephew: Caleb Jones, grandson: Ayden Lewis along with numerous beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.Visitation for Daniel Allen will be held at FPC of Georgetown (45024 Hwy 28 Georgetown, MS 39078) on Wednesday March 18th from 5–8:00 PM and Thursday March 19th from 10–11:00 AM. Funeral services will be held Thursday March 19th at 11:00 AM with graveside following at Georgetown Cemetery.
