Paul Brian Ritchey

Paul Brian Ritchey, age 69, of Kettering, Ohio, passed away on March 9, 2026. Born on August 18, 1956, in Dover, Delaware, to Charles Levi Ritchey Sr. and Frances Irene Ritchey, Paul built a career at the Naval Research Lab in Washington, D.C. He found quiet joy in reading, fishing, and cherishing moments with his family and beloved pets.

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa (Michael) Lay; his grandchildren, Logan and Olivia Lay; his nieces, Bethany (Andy) Levinson and Laura (Cody) Molla; and his great niece, Rachel Parks. Paul was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Levi Ritchey Jr.; his sister, Emily Frances Ritchey; and his parents, Charles and Irene Ritchey.
