Paul B. Evans

Paul B. Evans, age 48, of Beech Bluff, passed away on March 7, 2026, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Born on September 18, 1977, in Jackson to Larry and Lynn Evans, Paul was deeply loved by his family, and he returned that love with quiet devotion. He was a beloved uncle whose nieces and nephews adored him, and he remained a steadfast, reliable presence in their lives.

A true jack of all trades, Paul could fix or build nearly anything and was the person family and friends turned to whenever something needed repair. He possessed a profound love for music, especially singing, and carried an extraordinary memory for song lyrics that often brought joy to those around him. In a final act of generosity, Paul gave the gift of life to four people through organ donation, offering his heart, lungs, liver, and both kidneys.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leroy and Margaret Evans, and maternal grandparents, James Travis and Rozelle Sanford Harrison.

Paul is survived by his loving parents, Larry and Lynn Evans of Beech Bluff; his brothers, Josh Evans and his wife Angelia of Jackson, and Andrew Evans and his wife Melissa of Thompson Station; his nieces and nephews, Chelsea Russell and her husband Nolan, Angela Lewis and her husband Jeremy, Emily Dyer and her husband Elijah, Addison Evans, and Tyler Evans; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nova, Dylan, Lacey, Livi, Jack, and Kynlee; and his best friend, Brandi Morris.
