Paul Arthur Foux

Paul Arthur Foux, 74, of Newfield, New York, passed away at his home on March 9, 2026. Born on January 15, 1952, in Cortland, New York, he was the son of the late Laurence Foux of East Berkshire, New York, and Dorothy (Ceurter) Foux of Berkshire, New York.

Paul is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Carol “Gus” Cox, Barb Trask, and LeRoy Foux, his niece Karen Brame, and numerous cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his partner George LaFave, his brother David Foux, and his nephew Jeffrey Brame.

Paul’s passion for baking filled his home with the warm aroma of fresh breads, cookies, pies, and rolls. His cooking and baking brought genuine joy to everyone fortunate enough to taste his creations. He also tended his garden with patience and dedication, engaging in friendly competitions with his mother to see whose vegetables, fruits, and flowers would reach the table first, happily sharing the harvest with neighbors and friends.

Animals held a special place in Paul’s heart. His homestead was a haven for chickens, goats, fish, and beloved dogs that were cherished members of his family. His gentle spirit shone through in the devoted care and affection he showed to all living things.
