Paul Adelbert Foote, 73, of Locust Grove, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at his home. Born on September 11, 1952, in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to Paul Elias Foote and Lois Louise Hivley Foote, he grew up with a strong work ethic that defined his life.

Paul was a dedicated mechanic and heavy equipment operator who remained deeply involved in the trucking industry. Known by many as a workaholic, he found joy in his shop, where he rebuilt motors and performed body shop work on vehicles. He also loved the outdoors and spent time hauling logs.

He served his country in the Army and was a committed member of the Faithful Gospel Church in Banner, Arkansas.

Paul is survived by his wife, Christine, of the home; his sons, Mark Carter of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Paul J. Foote of Council Bluffs, Iowa, and David L. Bunn of Locust Grove; his daughters, Trina (Tim) Wilson of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Christal Bunn of Alma, Illinois, Felicia Bunn of Locust Grove, Cierra Weiss of Sandoval, Illinois, and Michelle Howell of Heber Springs; his sisters, Donna Rhodes of Crescent, Iowa, and Diana Hasbrook of Council Bluffs, Iowa; his sister-in-law, Donna Dee Foote of Crescent, Iowa; twenty-two grandchildren, Danielle, Jacob, Maddison, Harley, Maria, Melissa, Emma, Shanahae, Gabriel, Shianna, Zander, Emily, Adriel, Hadleigh, Christiana, Jaxton, Kazan, Elisa, Tucker, Emmy, Kaleigh, and Lanaya; ten great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother David D. Foote, and two grandchildren, Shianna and Zander.
