Patsy A. Leiphart

Patsy A. (Ness) Leiphart, 85, of Dallastown, passed away on March 14, 2026, one day after celebrating her 85th birthday. Born on March 13, 1941, in Getchelville, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Robert E. Ness and Esther (Waltermyer) Ness. She was the loving wife of the late Stewart “Stu” H. Leiphart.

A graduate of Red Lion Area High School, Patsy worked for many years as a seamstress at Danskin before retiring. She was a devoted member of Windsor Church of God, where she generously gave her time helping to clean the church, preparing Easter eggs, assisting with Vacation Bible School, and participating in the Women’s Club. Her love of baking earned her the affectionate nickname “Pie Lady” among family and friends.

Patsy is survived by her daughter, Dawn E. Boyer; her son, Todd A. Leiphart; her granddaughters, Michelle Shermeyer and her husband Jonathan, and Samantha Leiphart; her great-granddaughter, Hailey Strine; and her sisters, Betty Keiser and her husband Wayne, and Cindy Lewis. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Richard Ness, Robert Ness, Doris Deisinger, Donald Ness, and Dean Ness.
