Patrick Michael Keeley, 70, of Caledonia, Illinois, passed away on March 15, 2026. Born on November 26, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois, he proudly served his country as a Military Police Officer in the United States Army. After his military service, Patrick built a long and distinguished career marked by dedication and integrity. He began as a gear grinder and advanced through perseverance to become a quality control inspector and manager for several companies, including Forest City Gear. Most recently, he worked as a Quality Representative for Bell Helicopter, anticipating his retirement on April 9th after decades of hard work and commitment to providing for his family.
Above all, Patrick was a devoted husband, father, and Papa. He shared 46 loving years of marriage with his beloved wife, Julianne, whom he cherished deeply and unconditionally. Together they created a family grounded in love, faith, and loyalty. He is survived by his children, Andrew Keeley (Jenny) and Colleen Lundgren (Andrew), and was a proud and affectionate Papa to Brock, Bridget, Sophia, Henry, Finnley, Joslyn, Camryn, and Kodie, who brought him great joy. He is also survived by his brothers, William (Patti) Keeley and John (Barb) Keeley, along with many nieces and nephews.
Patrick was preceded in death by two of his beloved children, Brian Keeley and Heather Ordiway; his parents, William and Catherine Keeley; his brothers, Joseph, Robert, and Richard Keeley; and his sister, Gloria Ravensbeck.
Those who knew Patrick will remember his heart of gold, his warm welcome that made everyone feel like family, and his steadfast belief in hard work and responsibility, values he passed on to his children by example. He found simple pleasures in warm summer days boating and fishing on the lake, cheering for his beloved Green Bay Packers, grilling for family and friends, and gathering around the bonfire. He will be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his strong faith, his generosity, and the quiet strength he showed throughout his life.
