Patrick Labor

Patrick Allen Labor, age 66, passed away on March 9, 2026, at his home in Albuquerque following a recent diagnosis of two glioblastoma brain tumors. Born in 1959 in Albuquerque to Carl and Dorothy Labor, Pat was the youngest of five children: Nancy, Polly, Jim, and Mike. He attended Bel Air Elementary, McKinley Middle School, and graduated from Del Norte High School in 1977. He completed his electrician apprenticeship with the IBEW and spent his career as a dedicated electrician, retiring from the on-site construction team at Sandia National Labs.

Pat married his wife Lynn in July 1982 after meeting her following high school; their childhood homes were only a few blocks apart. Together for 44 years, they formed a steadfast team, always ready to help others in their community. They raised two children, Stacy and Wesley, and were blessed with five grandchildren who brought him great joy. A devoted member of Grace Church for many years, Pat joined Hope Church in 2018, where he continued to serve quietly and faithfully.

A hardworking and unassuming man, Pat was the steadfast backbone of his family. He supported his children by attending every school event, coaching their sports, and staying up late to help with projects. Wherever he went, he could be found mopping floors, cooking burgers, moving chairs, or fixing whatever needed repair. He found peace and pleasure in bike riding, hiking, and photographing nature.

He is survived by his wife Lynn, children Stacy and Wesley, five grandchildren, and his siblings.
