He is survived by: his wife Betsy McCoy; his children, Noah McCoy of Sault Ste, Marie, Patrick John McCoy (Sam) of Ispeming, Elijah McCoy of Gwinn, Jesse Dayen Saint Pierre of WaWa Ontario, Autumn Reign (Derek) of Menominee and Austin Ischirhart of Sault Ste; his grandchildren, Koveur, Archer, Messiah, Harland, Leeland Maisie and Alan; his siblings, Michael McCoy (Kim), Paul "Chip" McCoy (Ruth) and Lauri Henry; and his brothers-in-law, Tony Abramson and Greg Spring.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Niigaanaagiizhik Ceremonial Building (11 Ice Circle Chi Mukwa, Sault Ste. Marie, MI 49783). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
