Patricia “Pat” Simmons Clement, 75, of High Point, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Pat was born October 11, 1950, in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, as Patricia Marilyn Simmons to the late Frank and Ruth (Hepler) Simmons.
Pat was known for her fiery spirit, warm heart, and genuine love for people. She never met a stranger and had a special way of making everyone feel welcome and valued. Her kindness, generosity, and ability to connect with others created friendships wherever she went.
She was a loving and devoted daughter, mother and grandmother to her family. Her greatest joy was the time she spent with her loved ones and the care she took of all those around her. Pat was an enthusiastic fan of Duke basketball and had a special love for dogs, which brought her great happiness throughout her life.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, George Simmons and Joan Garner.
She is survived by her sister, Barbara Kennerly; her children, Craig (Christy) Clement, Chris (Sandra) Clement, Kevin Clement (Summer Pope) ; her grandchildren, Stephen and Noah; several great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation for the staff of Select Speciality Hospital in Greensboro for the great care they took of her over the past month.
