Patricia Rose Shull

Patricia Rose Shull, age 80, of Cypress, Texas, passed away on March 12, 2026. Born on February 11, 1946, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, to the late Arthur Richard and Rose (Mosier) Richard, Pat graduated from Marywood Academy before attending Michigan State University. There she met Jim, the love of her life, and they married on October 14, 1967. The couple shared 55 devoted years together until Jim’s passing in 2024.

Pat worked as a bookkeeper at Michigan Schools and Government Credit Union and later at Easter Seals and the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. In retirement, she found her greatest joy in caring for her grandchildren, offering them the most loving daycare while cheering them on in all their activities. Her warmth, steadiness, and quiet generosity left a deep impression on everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her son Jeff Shull and daughter-in-law Renee; her daughter Allison Garmo and son-in-law T.J.; her son Joe Shull and daughter-in-law Katie; and her grandchildren Mackenna, Abby, James, and Ellen Shull. She is also survived by her sisters Judy (Dave) Tisch and Dotti (Gary) Marsiglia, and her brothers John (Janet) Richard, Tom (Nora) Richard, and Joe (Dru) Richard, as well as the memory of her late brother Bob (Helen) Richard.

Her family will celebrate her life privately, and her remains will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township, Michigan.
