Funeral Services for Patricia Nowell Burton will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026 at 1:00 pm from McClain-Hays Chapel with Bro. Dennis Duvall officiating. Interment will follow in the Old Pearl Valley Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 4:00-8:00 pm at McClain-Hays.
Mrs. Patricia Nowell Burton, 83, of Neshoba County passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Baptist Anderson Hospital Meridian, MS.
Patricia was born and raised in Neshoba County to Floyd and Audrey Nowell. She grew up in the Arlington Community and was a graduate of Neshoba Central High School. She was a lifelong advocate for the disabled. She enjoyed sewing, Elvis, pottery, flowers, cooking, and loved planning weddings. She enjoyed anything with some bling. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She dearly loved her family and will be missed by all.
Survivors include special friend; Sonny Tisdale, daughter; Windy Nicholson (Jeffrey) of Philadelphia, MS, grandchildren; Cody Nicholson (Jasmyne), Chase Nicholson (Bridges), Cale Nicholson (Gracie); great grandchild, Willow Grace Nicholson sister; Johnanna Breland (Randy) of Union, MS, brothers; Jimmy Nowell (Wanda) of Walnut, MS, Keith Nowell (Linda) of Philadelphia, MS; several nieces, nephews, friends and their families.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Machelle Burton; parents, Floyd and Audrey Nowell.
Pallbearers will be Cody Nicholson, Chase Nicholson, Cale Nicholson, Joe Breland, Kenny Adkins and Shannon Breland.
