Patricia Madere Keating

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patricia Madere Keating of Laplace, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on March 7, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Curtis Keating, Sr.; her daughter Suzanne Ladner; her grandchildren, Sam J. Cartozzo, III (Margaret), Kelly Keating Boe, Michael Cartozzo (Elizabeth), Jaime Ladner Smith (Terry) and Curtis Keating; her great grandchildren, Joey, Penelope, Charles and Rhett; her parents, Earlis Madere and Virginia Vicknair Madere; and her sister Janice Margavio.

She is survived by: her children, Cathy Cartozzo (Sam) and Curtis Keating, Jr.. She is also survived by niece and nephew, cousins.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Catholic Church (1550 LA-44, Reserve, LA 70084). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
