Patricia Louise Newlun
October 21, 1931— March 7, 2026
Dairy, OR
Patricia Louise “Pattie” Newlun was born to Hazel and Earl Brown of Bonanza, Oregon, the third youngest of their eleven children. She grew up on the family farm, graduating from high school in 1949. In 1951 she married Vernon Newlun of Klamath Falls. Together they raised four children and in 1964 purchased a house and land in Dairy, where Pattie devoted herself to being a loving stay-at-home mother until all her children had graduated from Bonanza High School. She then worked for twenty years as a reading aide at Bonanza School, retiring in 1990.
Pattie and Vernon shared a quiet, happy life filled with traveling, camping, and the company of family and many dear friends. After Vernon’s passing in 2021, she continued to live in Dairy, finding her greatest joy in time spent with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and extended family.
She is survived by her sons Gary Dalton and Ken Newlun, daughters Pam Newlun and Lynette (Jon) Flores, grandchildren Scott (Trina) Dalton, Rachelle (Jake) Greer, Erick (Cecelia) Vieira, Angela (Jake) McGarvey, Tiffany Chaires, and Tasha (Mike) Miles, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-nine years, Vernon, her daughter Kathy Biglin, her parents, and all of her siblings.
