Patricia Louise McCarron, fondly known as Pat, passed away on March 11, 2026, at the age of 77. Born on July 13, 1948, in Dothan, Alabama, to the late Albert Smith Mason and the late Elizabeth Louise Judah White, Pat lived a life marked by dedication and joy.
She devoted 33 years to her career as a Regional Employer Services Liaison with the Social Security Administration before retiring. Pat had a deep love for dancing and was a familiar face at the Beach Bum Reunion in Panama City Beach and with The Magic City Boppers in Birmingham. A devoted Alabama football fan, she proudly wore her crimson, white, and houndstooth, cheering for her team at every opportunity.
Pat is survived by her life partner, Jim Ellis of Springville, Tennessee; her stepsisters, Patti Thomas, Sandra Woodham, and Sheryl Jowers; her cousins, Kim (Greg) Littlefield of Pike Road, Alabama, and William (Tammy) Judah of Ozark, Alabama; and her nephew, Clark Harris (Alvin Diamond) of Troy, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Captain Robert James McCarron; her sister, Deborah Ann Mason Harris; her stepfather, Cordell White; and her parents.
Her body was cremated, and her ashes will be scattered in the Gulf of Mexico.
