Patricia Louise Gadwah

Patricia Louise Gadwah, 93, of Wells River, Vermont, passed away on the evening of March 7, 2026, surrounded by her family. Born on April 29, 1932, in North Haverhill, New Hampshire, Patty graduated from the Haverhill school system. In 1954 she married the love of her life, Charlie Gadwah, and together they shared 61 years of marriage until his passing in 2017.

Patty was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who found great joy in gardening and in caring for her family. She is survived by her children, Peter and his wife Penny of South Hero, Vermont, and Laurie and her husband Harry of Castleton; and by her grandchildren, Danielle and her husband Eric of Grand Isle, Vermont, and Patrick and his partner Alexandra Prior of Williston, Vermont. In her later years she was especially grateful for the companionship of Lilly, Camryn, and her beloved dog Riley.

She will be remembered with deep affection and is now at rest once again by Charlie’s side. A private burial is planned for the spring.
