Patricia (Pat) LaVonne CantonwineTiptonPatricia (Pat) LaVonne Cantonwine, 92, of Tipton, passed peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2026 at Cedar Manor Nursing Home in Tipton. Pat was born in Smith Center, Kansas to Glenn E. Primmer and Mabel Ida Abernathy Primmer. She married Dale Leland Cantonwine on June 26, 1949 in Vinton, Iowa. Pat was a member of the First United Church of Christ, a foster parent, and provided day care in her home for many children over the years. Above all she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She gave openly to those in need by generously sharing her time, talents, and treasures – always anonymously, never seeking recognition. She didn't belong to any clubs but would crochet stockings annually for the children at the University of Iowa Hospitals for Christmas.Pat is survived by her children, Mike (Debbie) Cantonwine, Vonda (Randy) Moore, Wendy Daedlow, and Randy (Janet) Cantonwine; 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren with another on the way. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2014, her daughter, Connie Hasenbank, grandson Scott Moore, her parents, and her siblings: Maurine Campbell, Doris Smith, Nelda Eckhart, Richard Primmer, Marion Primmer, Carl Primmer, and Glenn Primmer.There are currently no services planned but online condolences and memorials may be shared at www.fryfuneralhome.com.
