Patricia Joan Kolarik

Patricia Joan Kolarik of Reno passed away peacefully on February 14, 2026. A devoted public servant, she worked for thirty years with the Internal Revenue Service and was a faithful, longtime member of Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Church.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Arletta Ruth and Joseph Leo Kolarik of Washington, D.C. She is lovingly remembered by her brother, Raymond Kolarik, her sister-in-law, Bonita Kolarik, and her cherished niece, Kimberly Falvey.

She carried a lifelong love of sports and horses, and took great joy in following her niece’s lacrosse journey at the University of Virginia. Pat was especially proud to watch both Kimberly and her husband, John—both former college lacrosse players—continue their passion by coaching community and high school programs. Supporting and celebrating her family brought her deep happiness.

Pat was a kind and loving soul who always put others before herself. Her quiet strength, devotion, and steadfast spirit will be deeply missed.
