March 9, 1943— March 11, 2026
Ballston Spa, NY
Patricia G. Rachiele, 83, passed away on March 11, 2026, shortly after her 83rd birthday. Born on March 9, 1943, at Bellevue Hospital in Niskayuna, New York, to Alma and John Kennedy, she lived a life defined by devotion, warmth, and unwavering loyalty to those she loved.
Patricia graduated from Scotia Glenville High School in 1961 and from Mildred Elley in 1963. She began her career as an executive secretary at General Electric, working there until 1975 when she realized her greatest dream by adopting her baby girl, Kimberly. She devoted herself fully to motherhood and homemaking while also operating her antique shop, Harvest Home Antiques, for many years. She later returned to work as a secretary at Ellsworth Ice Cream and retired as Assistant Marketing Director from the Wesley Community at the age of 72.
A woman of many passions, Patricia was an avid gardener especially proud of her Sicilian tomatoes, a talented quilter, seamstress, and cook whose meals brought family and friends together. She entered and won many recipe contests, and she loved golf, antiquing, yard sales, DIY projects, traveling with her husband and family, and celebrating holidays with enthusiasm. She adored her goats and kitties, cherished time with her high school poker buddies, and remained active in her community through the Ballston Spa Country Club, Friends of the Kayaderosseras, and the Ballston Spa Senior Center. She rarely met an enemy and lit up every room she entered.
Patricia was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Arman Rachiele, and her sister, Arlene Smith. She is survived by her daughter, Kimberly Bufe-Outen, grandchildren Kennedy Outen, Morgan Wilder, and Mandi Wilder, and her cousin, Gaile Sarma. A faithful member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Malta, she carried a spirit of grace and generosity that touched everyone who knew her. Her daughter Kimberly often called her “The Best Person I’ve Ever Known.”
