Patricia Dare Howell

Patricia Dare Howell, age 95, of Clarington, Ohio, passed away on March 13, 2026, at her home. Born on January 27, 1931, in Pine Grove, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Stackpole and Eva Morgan Stackpole.

Patricia spent her career as a dedicated nurse at Wetzel County Hospital and remained a faithful member of the Church of Christ. She shared her life with two husbands, the late Edward Glenn Snodgrass and the late Robert B. Howell. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Wallace and Neil Stackpole; a sister, Mary Martha Stackpole; and a son, Cecil Earl Snodgrass.

She is survived by her sons, Edward Glenn Snodgrass Jr. of Clarington and Ersal Snodgrass of Woodsfield; her daughter, Barbara (Michael) Wiley of Woodsfield; her sister, Janet Goodwin of Paden City, West Virginia; seven grandchildren, a step-granddaughter, and six great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
