She was 79 years old, and was born January 7, 1947 in Windsor, Canada, She was a long-time resident of Oxford, MI. Pat will be remembered for her warm heart, creative spirit, and deep love for her family and friends.She found joy in life's simple pleasures including gardening, boating, and spending time outdoors. Some of her happiest moments were spent up north with family where she enjoyed snowmobiling, four wheeling, fishing, and creating lasting memories with her grandchildren. Pat also enjoyed quieter moments, such as watching hockey with her son, David, cheering on the game together.Pat worked for many years as an Executive Assistant at First Federal, where she was respected for her dedication, professionalism, and kindness.She had a passion for travel and especially loved cruises. Switzerland held a special place in her heart among the many beautiful places she visited.Pat also devoted her time to volunteering at local food pantries, something that was very important to her. She cherished the friendships she shared with her close knit group of friends known as "The Flakes," whose companionship brought her much laughter and joy over the years.A naturally creative person, Pat had a special talent for making beautiful quilts and crafting the most stunning Christmas bows, adding warmth and beauty to every holiday season.Above all, Pat will be remembered for the love she had for her family, her friends, and the many joyful moments she created with them. Her warmth, generosity, and adventurous spirit will be dearly missed.Pat was the beloved wife of Jim. Loving mother of David Bromley and stepmother of Jim Cavellier (Sally) and Amy Shehab (Edward). Devoted grandmother of Katie (Tony), Megan (Jake), Alex (fiancé Kaitlin), Eddie, and Paige, and great grandmother of Aaliyah, Luka, Noah, and Joey.Family will receive friends Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home 2600 Crooks Rd. (between Maple and Big Beaver), Troy, 248-362-2500.Funeral Mass Friday 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 3400 S. Adams Rd, Auburn Hills.
