Patricia Anne "Patti" Tumolo

Patricia Anne "Patti" Tumolo

Passed March 10, 2026

Jacksonville, FL

Patricia Anne Tumolo, known lovingly as Patti, passed away peacefully at her home in Jacksonville, Florida on March 10, 2026, surrounded by her husband, son, and son-in-law. Born on March 17, 1951 in Syracuse, New York to the late James B. and Antoinette Evans Thiebeau, she graduated from North Syracuse Central Schools. Patti built a distinguished career as a Human Resources executive, holding senior leadership positions with Dey Brothers & Co. and Addis & Dey’s in Syracuse, Bob’s Stores in Meriden, Connecticut, and The Noland Company in Newport News, Virginia. A longtime member of the Society for Human Resources Management, she was also a dedicated supporter of the United Way and the Alzheimer’s Association.

Above all, Patti cherished her family and friends. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, she stood at the heart of her family. She was always the first to offer help without hesitation, greeting each day with a warm smile and a kind word. Her positive spirit brought light to many during difficult times. She found joy in reading romance novels and in traveling, especially to Disney World, with her husband Ralph and son Michael. Wherever they were, she was happiest.

Patti was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sons Christopher and Matthew, her in-laws Michael J. and Catherine Rizzo Tumolo, her son-in-law’s parents Kenneth J. and Donna Stephens Buckley, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Ralph Salvatore, her loving son Michael James and his partner Brandon Buckley, her sister Nancy and brother-in-law Edward Voorhees, her brother-in-law and sister-in-law Salvatore and Bobbie Tumolo, and many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, including Jacob and Madelyn Voorhees who held a special place in her heart. She also leaves behind many dear friends and her feline companion, Pepper.

Though her family misses her deeply, they celebrate her release from Alzheimer’s Disease and take comfort in the promise of being reunited with her forever.
