Patricia Anne Owens

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Patricia Anne Owens, a woman of boundless wittiness and love for her family. Patricia was born on March 5, 1939, and transitioned out of this life on March 4, 2026. Through her journey of 86 years, she touched many lives with her humor, wisdom, and unwavering spirit of perseverance, which will be carried forward by those who had the privilege of knowing her. Her remarkable life will forever be an inspiration, a testament to the power of an indomitable spirit enthused with curiosity and resilience.

She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Gwen Owens, of 51 years; her son, Jack Owens; and her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her loving children, Karen Smiley, Jeff Owens, Jay Owens, and Jerry Owens; their spouses; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family will celebrate her life when she is interred, joining her husband at White Chapel Memorial Park, Amherst, New York.

In lieu of flowers, we encourage you to honor Patricia’s legacy by remembering her boisterous character, strength, and the idea that she wouldn’t want anyone to fuss over her. This, we believe, would be the best tribute to her simple yet joyful life.
