Patricia Anne Heard

Mrs. Patricia Anne Heard of Colquitt passed away on Friday, March 13, 2026, at Phoebe Putney Hospital in Albany, Georgia. A retired nurse at Miller Nursing Home, she was a longtime and faithful member of Colquitt Free Will Baptist Church, where her quiet dedication and caring spirit touched many.

She is survived by her sons, Lance (Lisa) Heard and Dane (Laural) Heard, both of Adel; her daughter, Marcia (Alan) Lee of Leary; her son-in-law, Tommy Smith of Colquitt; nine grandchildren, Brandon Smith, Ansley (Clay) Poague, Whitney (Lance) Tabb, Miles (Courtney) Lee, Tyler Heard, Garrett (Jaclyn) Heard, Reece Heard, Morgan Heard, and Caroline Heard; and eight great-grandchildren, Lexie Delbrey, Bowen Smith, Greyson Smith, Townsend Tabb, Berklee Tabb, Baker Lee, Lawson Lee, and Frank Heard.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Heard Jr.; her daughter, Melanie Smith; and her parents, Henry and Marguerite Daniels Newberry. She leaves behind a loving family who will cherish the memories of her gentle strength and devoted heart.
