She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Young and Sophie Young; her husband James G. Swanick; and her sisters, Gloria Pantuso and Mae Miller.

She is survived by: her children, Thomas Swanick, Mary Swanick, Tim Swanick (Jean), Margaret Tobin (Mitch) and Diane Kellam (Randy); her grandchildren, Austin, Jim, Emily, Michael, Louis, Jennifer and Katelyn; and her great grandchildren, Juniper, Maeve and Aoife.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Whitham-Kanapaux Funeral Home (20 Keller Ave, Rockaway, NJ 07866). A Mass will be held on Thursday, March 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Cecilia Church (70 Church St, Rockaway, NJ 07866).
