Patricia Ann Pogue

1939 — 2026

Del City, OK

Patricia Ann Pogue passed away on March 10, 2026. Born on October 10, 1939, she lived a life centered on family and her deep passion for music.

A devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, Patricia found her greatest joy in gathering with those she loved. She cherished attending her children’s and grandchildren’s sporting events and expressed her care through cooking, most notably her smoked brisket and generous family breakfasts. Known for her quick wit, she often joked that her dishes turned out better because she stirred everything left-handed.

Patricia’s love for bluegrass music led her to devote many years to running the Oklahoma Bluegrass Club, where she created a welcoming space for fellowship and shared musical interests.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Pogue; her son, Bradley Walls; her mother, Anna Mae Prater; and her granddaughter, Becky Walls. Patricia is survived by her son, Ray Walls and wife Debbie of Del City; grandchildren Courtney Estep and husband Rob of Choctaw, Amy Stone and husband Greg of Blanchard, Jeremy Walls of Del City, and Robby Walls and wife Lori of Oklahoma City; and great-grandchildren Emily Smith, Makenzie Stone, Gracie Holland, Dalton Walls, and Ryder Walls. She will be remembered for her devotion to family and her enduring love of music.
