Patricia Ann Parish

Patricia Ann “Pat” Parish, 76, of Jefferson City, passed away at her home on March 9, 2026. Born on June 23, 1949, in Cole County, she was the daughter of John Harding and Laurine Margaret (Luecke) Thompson.

A 1967 graduate of Russellville High School, Pat attended Lincoln University and was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She married Gerald Lee “Jerry” Parish on April 3, 1971; he preceded her in death on August 12, 2019. Pat retired after many years as a supervisor with the Missouri Department of Revenue, having earlier worked at Montgomery Ward.

She found joy in flower gardening, cooking, and shopping with her sisters. In her younger years she played softball, but her greatest happiness came from spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandson.

Pat is survived by her children, Scott Parish of Jefferson City and Catrine (Mike) Reinkemeyer of Centertown; four grandchildren, Logan Parish, Emma Sanson, Moris Reinkemeyer, and Marshall Reinkemeyer; a great-grandson, Malcolm Carson; a sister, Carole Frank of St. Louis; and a brother, Larry (Judy) Thompson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry; a sister, Elizabeth “Betty” (Bill) Kaiser; a brother, Bob (Debbie) Thompson; and a nephew, Ryan Thompson.
