Patricia Murphy ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Herr Funeral Home and Cremation Services - Collinsville on Mar. 11, 2026.Patricia Ann Murphy, a faithful follower of Christ, a mighty prayer warrior, and faithful servant entered the Kingdom of Heaven on March 8th, 2026. She got to hear her Heavenly Father say, "Well done, my good and faithful servant."Patricia (Patsy Reynolds) of Collinsville, IL, wore many hats: wife, mother, memaw, and friend. She will be dearly missed by her husband, Ronny Murphy; her children, Richard (Linda Italiano) Moore-Murphy, Geralyn Hale, Keri Brown, and David (Jerri) Grommet-Murphy. As well as her grandchildren, Herbert "Bubba" (Whitney) Hale, Ricky Moore, Amanda Hale, Jason "Jeb" Brown, Kaitlynn (Craig) Houchin, Eric (Ashley) Rasmussen, Amber (Anthony) Ford, Dylan Ford, Francesca Italiano, and Nick Italiano. She was also blessed with great grandchildren, Landon Rasmussen, Rori Rasmussen, Emma Ford, Eliett Rasmussen, Levi Ford, Holly Rasmussen, Hannah Rasmussen, Lillian Moore, Lillian Rasmussen, and Elliana Houchin.She is preceded in death by her late husband, Richard C. Moore and her parents, Dorothy Reynolds and Gerald Reynolds. As well as a sister, Carolyn Reynolds, who passed away as an infant.Pat lived a full life filled with love and adventure. During the early years of her marriage, she got to travel alongside her husband, Ronny, and be a military wife. They lived in many different places throughout this time. Pat often felt that wherever life took her, God had placed her there to be a witness.Many knew Pat from her days working at the Caseyville Restaurant. She worked alongside family and friends for many years. She then continued doing in-home care for someone who became a dear friend to her.She was a devoted Christian and spoke about Jesus to anyone who would listen. Her faith journey began at Sterling Baptist Church, where she helped with Sunday School, VBS, and Royal Rangers. She continued helping with her children in all the churches she attended throughout her life. Even after her time volunteering at church, she continued to share Jesus with her family, friends, and anyone she met. She will be remembered for being a strong follower of Jesus.Pat would often pray over her loved ones. Her faith has been an inspiration that has impacted multiple generations and will continue to do so. She would often recite Psalm 91 as her family would go out into the world, "Because you have made the Lord your dwelling place - the Most High, who is my refuge - no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways." Psalm 91:9-11In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be sent to Life Outreach International P.O. Box 982000, Forth Worth, TX 76182-8000.A graveside service will be held at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Fairview Heights, IL, on Friday, March 13th, 2026, at 2 p.m. We invite all of her friends and family to attend this service.Services are in care of Herr Funeral Home, 501 W.
