Patricia Larson ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by Holt Memorial Chapel - Harrison on Mar. 14, 2026.Patricia Ann "Pat" Larson, 86, of Harrison, graduated to her heavenly home Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Hillcrest Home in Harrison.Pat was born April 24, 1939, at Choctaw, Oklahoma, to Buck Raffe and Alice May Thornton Johnson. She graduated from Capitol Hill High School in Oklahoma City. She was known for her quick wit and warm spirit. She worked as a secretary for a few years and then spent a lifetime in ministry with her beloved husband of 63 years, Wes. She brought many gifts to that calling. A talented adult teacher, she and her husband specialized in strengthening marriages and relationships. Pat was also a gifted communicator to young people and oversaw large children's ministries in many of the churches they served. She and Wes absolutely loved music, and it was a very large part of their ministry over the years. A skilled musician and singer, she fluently played the piano, organ, and accordion. Yet the role she cherished most was being a mother and grandmother. Caring for her family and creating a loving home were accomplishments she held closest to her heart. The Johnson family frequently referred to Pat and her siblings as the "Magnificent 7," an adventurous group who were seldom afraid to try anything. Their bond formed a larger-than-life family that enjoyed boating, camping, and traveling together. But the highlight of the year was the annual Johnson Family Thanksgiving Gathering. Multiple generations enjoyed the legacy of the Magnificent 7. Pat was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, the Rev. Wesley James "Wes" Larson; sisters, Lavetta Wood, Estlean Riley, and Christine Niblett; brothers, Leroy Johnson, Preston Johnson, and Gerald Johnson; and her granddaughter, Kara Jarnagin.Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Christie and Mike Jarnagin, of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; her son and daughter-in-law, Wes and Tricia Larson Jr., of Hollister, Missouri; and two granddaughters, Amanda Jarnagin and Kaci Larson.A celebration of life will be held at Harrison Faith Church (Faith Assembly of God), 112 Valley View Church Road, Harrison, at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2026, with Pastor Scott Brandon officiating. Burial will be in Maple Leaf Cemetery under the direction of Holt Memorial Chapel.Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at the funeral home.Memorials may be made to Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch, Post Office Box 20, Morrow, Arkansas 72749.The online obituary and guestbook are available at www.HoltChapel.com.To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
