Patricia Ann Landis

October 22, 1951 December 6, 2025

Willow Street, PA

Patricia Ann “Pat” Landis, 74, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2025, at her home in Willow Street, Pennsylvania, from congestive heart failure. Her sister Sue and her beloved 15-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Charlie, were by her side.

Born on October 22, 1951, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Pat spent her formative years in Lancaster and Cheltenham, Pennsylvania, and Clark, New Jersey. She graduated from Mother Seton Regional High School in Clark and later attended Middlesex College in Edison, New Jersey.

Pat enjoyed a long and successful career with Z and H Uniforms at Park City Mall in Lancaster. Over more than 25 years with the company—and later with Life Uniforms following its acquisition—she advanced through increasingly responsible roles and was widely recognized for her outstanding sales achievements. Her dedication earned her numerous accolades, including award trips to Hawaii and the Caribbean.

While managing the Z and H store in Center City Philadelphia, Pat became a devoted Philadelphia Phillies fan. She held season tickets and named her first dog “Mikey” after Hall of Fame infielder Mike Schmidt. Her love of baseball was rooted in cherished memories with her father, including memorable trips together to the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York. Their shared enthusiasm also led them on an extensive exploration of Landis family history, reflecting Pat’s deep appreciation for tradition and family connection.

Pat was a loyal and generous friend who brought joy to many through her thoughtful gestures. Known as the “queen of retail therapy,” she was especially beloved for her home-baked Christmas cookies, particularly her springerles, which became legendary among those fortunate enough to receive a tin during the holidays.

In recent years, although her health limited her mobility, she continued to cherish memories of past travels, with her favorite remaining a “trip of a lifetime” to Australia.

She is lovingly remembered by her sister Susan “Sue” and brother-in-law Peter of North Bethesda, Maryland; her nephew David of North Bethesda, Maryland; and her godson Michael Armstrong of Dewey Beach, Delaware. Pat also maintained close bonds with dozens of cousins whose friendship she deeply valued throughout her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John C. “Ted” Landis and Rosalie K. Landis (née DeLany).
