Patricia Ann Brown

Patricia Ann Barrett Brown, age 79, of St. Petersburg, Florida, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, from cardiac arrest.

Born on May 3, 1946, in Rome, Georgia, Patricia grew into a warm and compassionate young woman whose desire to care for others led her to nursing. She trained at Piedmont School of Nursing, where she met the love of her life, Dwight. After marrying, they built a home together and welcomed two daughters, Lori in 1969 and Robin in 1972.

Known to many as Patsy, she devoted her life to nurturing those around her—her husband, her children, her beloved dogs, and countless members of her community. Her deep faith in the Lord was evident in everything she did. She poured love into others through her church involvement, women’s Bible studies, support of food pantries, and the genuine kindness she extended to everyone she met. While she found success in healthcare, modeling, her jewelry business, and her beautiful oil paintings, nothing brought her greater joy than her family, especially the time spent with her grandchildren.

Even as hearing loss and other health challenges came in later years, Patricia faced life with grace, laughter, and enduring joy. She is survived by her devoted husband, Dwight Brown; her sister, Deborah (Gary) Daves; her daughters, Lori (Kevin) Brown and Robin (Joe) Windham; her grandchildren, Noah Vaknin, Lauryn Windham, Julia (Kyle) Rose, and Elly Windham; her brother-in-law, Dawson Brown; her sister-in-law, Mary Brown Perez; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald Barrett and Helen Earwood Barrett.

Her family takes comfort knowing she is now at peace, smiling and dancing in the presence of her Savior.
