Patricia Ann Bradford

Patricia “Patty” Ann Bradford, 94, of Knightstown, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at her residence surrounded by her family. Born on August 14, 1931 in New Castle to the late Kenneth and Hazel (Harvey) Armstrong, she graduated from Kennard High School and later worked for Western Electric until the company closed. She then spent more than twenty years at Mayhill Publications before retiring. A longtime member of Knightstown Christian Church, Patty was known for her sharp mind, wonderful sense of humor, and a distinctive laugh that could light up any room. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her family and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Joy (Bobby) Bowen and Luther (Sandi) Bradford Jr.; son-in-law, John Beavers; grandchildren, Michelle (Todd) Dulin, Lee (Amanda) Beavers, Robert (Trista) Crowe, Amy (Brian) Bell, Rob Bowen, Scott Bowen, Jason (Nikki) Bowen, Adam (Kelsie) Bradford, Ryan (Vicki) Boaz, Shawnah Boaz and Levi (Liz) Boaz; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her husband, Luther L. Bradford Sr.; a daughter, Marcia Beavers; a son, Alan Bradford; and a brother, Richard Armstrong.
