Patricia Allen ObituaryObituary published on Legacy.com by All County Funeral Home & Crematory - Treasure Coast Chapel on Mar. 9, 2026.It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our mother and grandmother, Pat Allen.Patricia Ann (Piontkowski) Allen, 83, passed away peacefully on February 27, 2026. She was born to Ambrose and Angela Piontkowsi on November 14, 1942, in Passaic, New Jersey. The oldest of four children, Pat grew up near her extended Polish-Italian family in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. She married Jacob Allen on April 29, 1961, and raised their three children, Scott, Janeen, and Jennifer on U.S Naval Bases in San Diego (CA), Norfolk (VA) and Brunswick (GA). Her three children were her greatest joy, and she was heavily involved in PTA and their many musical and sports activities. Jake was often deployed for several months out of the year, and the marriage did not sustain his extended absence.Pat moved the family to south Florida to be closer to her parents and siblings, living in Pompano Beach, Coral Springs, and eventually in Port St Lucie. As a single mom, she relied on her strong Christian faith to guide her in raising her children. The warm home she created was full of love and laughter, as well as animals. She always had a dog or a cat or both and she passed her love of animals to her children and grandchildren. She was the heart of her family, and her grandchildren, Stephanie, Samantha, Tristan, and Maggie were the light of her life. Grandma Pat not only provided unconditional love and potato chips, but she was always willing to spend hours coloring, watching magic tricks, or listening to her grandchildren's many stories. She lived for her grandchildren, and they loved her dearly. She enjoyed visiting her children and grandchildren throughout the US, but her favorite place was Disney World, where she could still be a kid herself. She loved music and could probably be considered Barry Manilow's greatest fan, to the point of having his picture framed on the wall along with other family members. In later years, she favored country music and became a huge Keith Urban fan. She loved watching all sports, especially her Miami Dolphins and Florida Gators.Pat is preceded in death by her parents, Ambrose and Angela Piontkowski, and her granddaughter, Stephanie Allen. She is survived by her children, Scott (and Susan) Allen, Janeen (and Keith) Justice, and Jennifer Allen; her grandchildren, Samantha Allen, Tristan Damas, and Maggie Justice; her siblings, Ronald (and Jane) Piontkowski, Gail Dotson, and Gary (and Janice) Piontkowski; the father of her children, Jacob Allen, and extended family and friends. The family wishes to thank the doctors and the staff of Solaris Healthcare Parkway for her care. There will not be a service so in lieu of flowers and to honor Pat's memory, the family requests that donations be made to a cause dear to her heart - the Autism Speaks (www.autismspeaks.org).To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
