Patricia A Wendling

Patricia Ann Wendling, age 83, of Chesaning, Michigan, passed away on March 13, 2026 at Edgewood Assisted Living Facility in Saginaw.

Born on August 30, 1942, in Chesaning to John and Anna (Bila) Kadlec, Patricia graduated from Chesaning High School with the class of 1960. She married the love of her life, Philinus “Flip” Wendling, on June 10, 1961. Together they raised four children: Debbie and Chuck Larner, Cheri and Daryl Irland, Carmen and Kyle Gross, and Derek and Stacey Wendling. Pat and Flip shared 45 years of marriage before his passing in 2006.

A dedicated wife and mother, Patricia found deep fulfillment in working for Meals on Wheels, preparing and delivering meals to those in need. In later years she enjoyed traveling and the companionship of Dennis Yaklin. She cherished her grandchildren Matt, Caleb, Anna, Jesse, Karly, Gage, Brandon, Courtney, Brett, Brody and Blake, and her great-grandchildren Charlotte, Simon, Harper and Henry.

She will be remembered for her quiet strength, her generous spirit, and the steady love she gave to her family.
