Patricia A. Price-Young

Patricia A. Price-Young, 80, of Bucyrus, passed peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, following a recent cancer diagnosis.

Pat was born on February 17, 1946, in Bucyrus to the late John H. and Helen A. (Shuck) Rike. She graduated from Buckeye Central High School and worked for many years as a cashier at Geyer’s in Bucyrus, later serving as office manager at Wyandot Seating until its closure, and concluding her career as a clerk in the Crawford County Probate Court.

She lived a simple life and took great pride in her family, frequently speaking of them with warmth and admiration. Pat had a deep affection for animals and delighted in spoiling her son’s dog, Milo, during their visits. She was a familiar presence on her front porch, enjoying conversations with neighbors, or quietly watching her favorite television shows at home.

Pat is survived by her son, Jeff (Tracey) Price of Bucyrus; grandchildren Jordan Ruehle, Vincent (Chelsea Cranston) Ruehle, Courtney (Dylan) Allison, Seth Price, Christian Price, and Logan Lane; seven great-grandchildren; and several close neighbors who were especially kind and helpful to her. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Chad Price, and her brother, Richard Rike.
