Patricia A. “Patty” Klepper-Hurt, 44, of Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Cleveland MetroHealth Hospital. She was born on July 10, 1981, in Norwalk, Ohio, to Thomas L. Klepper and the late Laura (Heald) Klepper.

Patty was a 2000 graduate of Edison High School. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Huron, Ohio.

Patty enjoyed crafts and art projects, The Ohio State Buckeyes, listening to music, making crafts for others, watching football, and cheering on her nephew and niece. She also enjoyed playing BINGO and other games and spending time with her friends and family, especially her husband.

Patty and her husband, Dan, were married for only a month but it was the happiest time in her life.

She is survived by her loving husband, Daniel Hurt; her father, Thomas L. Klepper; sisters, Dawn (Ronald) Casalinova of Huron, Erin (Michael) Gutshall of Ashland, Crystal Duncan of Milan; her nephew, Ronnie Casalinova; niece, Allie Casalinova, and her best friend, Linda Warner; and also by her aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Laura Klepper; her maternal grandparents, Walter E. Heald Sr., and Phyllis Heald; paternal grandparents, Glenn and Mildred Klepper; uncle, Walter E. Heald Jr. (Eddie); and nephew, William Glenn Gutshall.

Friends and family are invited to her memorial visitation on Monday, March 30, 2026, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, from 1 pm until the time of the 2 pm funeral service. Burial will be held privately at Meadow Green Memorial Park in Huron with family next to Patty’s mother, Laura.
