Patricia A. Kelly

Patricia A. (Patterson) Kelly, 81, of Delmar, passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2026. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late James and Rose (Carazza) Patterson.

Pat worked for many years as a clerk with the New York State Department of Audit and Control, retiring in 1993. A longtime communicant of Historic St. Mary’s Church in Albany, she remained deeply connected to her faith throughout her life.

She was the wife of the late Thomas F. Kelly and the devoted mother of Shawn T. (Liz) Kelly and the late Colleen P. Kelly. She is survived by her brother James E. (Barbara) Patterson, Jr., her brother Robert M. (Joan) Patterson, her grandchildren Mackenzie and Sara Kelly and Kyle McCann, as well as Geri Carey, Deana and Andrew Barna, Sr., Mary and Harry Sheevers, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Her family wishes to thank her special friends Sheila and Larry Root and Henry Duclos, along with her kind neighbors Cathy Daley, Cindy and Rob Gorzynski, for the care and companionship they gave her.
