Pat Beerwinkle

Pat (Nickols) Beerwinkle, age 82, of Earth, Texas, died on March 11, 2026, in Dimmitt, Texas. She was born on January 8, 1944, in Dallas, Texas, to Shirley and Bernice (Traylor) Nickols. She married Donald Beerwinkle on July 10, 1964, in Pampa, Texas.

Pat graduated from Pampa High School in 1962 and worked for many years at the Extension Office. She found joy in sewing, watching the cooking channel, attending stock shows, and wholeheartedly supporting her children in all their endeavors. An avid fan of college football and basketball, she also loved playing the piano, listening to western swing music, wearing her Santa Fe jewelry, traveling, and shopping from television. A longtime member of First Baptist Church in Earth, she faithfully sang in the church choir.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. Donald Beerwinkle, and her parents.

Pat is survived by her son, Si Beerwinkle and his wife, Alison, of Earth, Texas; her daughters, Shelli Beerwinkle of Hereford, Texas, and Staci Smith and her husband, Jay, of San Angelo, Texas; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The family is grateful for the loving care she received at Country View Living.
