February 15, 1965— March 11, 2026
Tulsa, OK
Panglianthlenga Chhakchhuak was called home to be with the Lord on March 11, 2026. Born on February 15, 1965, in Darkhai, Myanmar, to Chalkapa Chhakchhuak and Darrothluaii, he lived a life marked by deep faith and devoted service.
A committed follower of Christ, Panglianthlenga served the Lord for nearly forty years as a pastor and evangelist. He shared the Gospel with passion, shepherded believers in their faith, and encouraged all around him to draw closer to God. His ministry touched many lives through his love for Scripture and his steadfast dedication to service. He was also a dedicated scholar and teacher, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Theology, a Master of Arts in Religion, a Master of Arts in Political Science, and a PhD in Religion with a focus in Systematic Theology. For four years he served as a Theology Professor at Spicer Adventist University, guiding and inspiring students preparing for ministry.
A faithful member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Panglianthlenga found deep joy in preaching the Word of God. He cherished his family above all, especially the years spent with his beloved wife and sons, who were the greatest blessings of his life. Earlier in life he struggled with a strong temper, yet through the transforming grace of Christ he experienced genuine spiritual growth. In time he became a gentle, humble, and patient husband and father, leaving his family with a powerful testimony of God’s renewing work.
He is survived by his loving wife, Vanlalruali, and his sons, Judson Chhakchhuak and Andrews Chhakchhuak. He was preceded in death by his parents, Chalkapa Chhakchhuak and Darrothluaii. Though deeply missed by his family, friends, and those he served, they find comfort in the promise of eternal life and the hope of reunion in Jesus Christ. His legacy of faith, service, humility, and love remains in the hearts of all who knew him.
