Pamela Aman ObituaryVisit the Faith Chapel Funeral Home and Crematory - South Chapel website to view the full obituary.Pamela Jean Aman, known and loved by so many as "Yaya," passed away on March 9, 2026, at the age of 61. Born on October 1, 1964, Yaya lived a life defined by strength, determination, compassion, and an unwavering love for her family.Yaya was the heart and foundation of her family. Strong, tough, and endlessly dependable, she was the person everyone turned to for guidance, support, and love. She had a remarkable way of bringing people together and helping build the large, close-knit, and loving family that meant everything to her. Her presence held everyone together, and her love will continue to do so for years to come.Yaya was a devoted wife to her husband, Chuck, whom she loved deeply. Chuck's daughter, Shelby, was also part of the extended family. Yaya cherished the time she spent with Chuck-whether enjoying days out on the water or sharing the excitement of a trip to the casino. She was also a proud and loving mother to her children, Boo and Tarah, who meant the world to her. She loved her daughter-in-law, Lauren, dearly and treasured the family they built together. Perhaps one of her greatest joys in life was being a Yaya. She loved watching her grandson Trent play baseball and cheering him on every chance she had. She also cherished her Friday nights, when she would pick up her "babies," Marleigh and Leighton, and spend the evening enjoying family dinners at Boo and Lala's.Yaya also poured her heart into her career at Global Connections for Employment, where she was known as a phenomenal leader and culture setter. She worked tirelessly and led by example, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and friends alike. Her work ethic, kindness, and commitment to doing things the right way made a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to work alongside her.Yaya and her sister, April-known to the family as Gigi-shared a difficult childhood together. Just 16 months apart in age, they leaned on one another through those early years and built a bond that lasted a lifetime. That experience helped shape the women they became, and together they made sure the families they built would never have to experience the hardships they once faced. Yaya was determined to create something better for those she loved, always striving to give them the very best she could.Yaya loved the beach, where she found peace and happiness. She also loved time spent with family, especially watching the people she cared about grow, succeed, and become their best selves. She encouraged everyone she loved to strive for more and never settle for less than their potential.Yaya touched countless lives with her generosity, leadership, and love. She was a role model to many and a source of strength to all who knew her. While her passing leaves an immeasurable void, her legacy lives on in the family she cherished, the lives she influenced, and the love she shared so freely.Yaya will forever be remembered as the heart of her family, a woman of incredible strength, and a person who made the world better simply by being in it.Yaya's Celebration of Life will be held at Sanders Beach Community Center 913 S I Street Pensacola, FL 32502, on Friday, March 20, 2026. The doors open at 12:30 PM, the service will begin at 1:15 PM and conclude at 3:00 PM.Read The Full ObituaryTo plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
