Pamela S. Parla, 63, of Jamestown, passed away on March 13, 2026, in Lake Pointe Rehab and Nursing Center.
A lifelong resident of Jamestown, Pamela was born on May 11, 1962, one of four daughters born to Barbara Barrelle Spetz and the late Weldon “Archie” Spetz. She graduated from Jamestown High School in 1980 and worked as a secretary at Hopes Windows before later joining Tops Markets at its Foote Avenue location.
Pamela was a longtime member of Zion Covenant Church, where she warmly served as a greeter. She also gave her time as a volunteer for the Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle campaign and at the National Comedy Center. She is survived by her husband of 23 years, Peter Parla; her mother, Barbara Spetz of Jamestown; her sisters, Debra Rubin of Arlington, Virginia, and Krista (Shay) Pratt of Alexandria, Virginia; and her aunt, Jan Barrelle.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Chautauqua County Humane Society.
