She spent more than 30 years as a nurse, working hard to serve the community wherever the need was at. She loved to travel and had an adventurous spirit. She enjoyed photography and scrapbooking but most importantly, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.She is preceded in death by parents, Owen and Dorothy McInnis.Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Ashley (Ryan) Longmire and Garrett Tharp; grandchildren, Joseph Longmire, Amelia Longmire, and Nolan Longmire; siblings, Ronnie McInnis, Trudie (Mike) Roberts, Wanda Byrd and Barbara Halpern; numerous other relatives and friends.The Visitation will be Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Moments Funeral Home Leakesville from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM. The Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.
